The captain’s strength begins to ebb away.






“A gloomy evening outside the Admiral Benbow Inn, fog covering the ground, neighbours whispering in groups after the funeral, while the captain sits alone in the window with a bottle of rum.”
Darkness and grief surround the inn after Jim’s father’s death.
